Crosstown – Metrus Building

Crosstown Place is defined by its bold use of cross-pattern geometry, expressed across both the interior and exterior architecture. At the main entrance, the AL13 Plank System in Lexus Bronze is installed in the soffit using a cut-to-fit, on-site installation technique, allowing the planks to follow the building’s multi-directional, cross-angled forms with precision.

This dimensional layout transforms the soffit into a sculptural architectural feature,  reinforcing the project’s faceted design language while delivering durability, clean transitions, and a refined metallic finish at street level. The project was designed by Toronto-based CORE Architects
